The Philadelphia Eagles announced Saturday that the club is adding former All-Pro safety Brian Dawkins to its scouting department.

Dawkins — who is the recipient of the Nunn-Wooten Scouting fellowship — will be studying and taking on roles within both the scouting and football operations departments.
The 1996 second-round pick spent the first 13 years of his career in Philly — where he recorded 34 interceptions — while earning seven Pro Bowl nods.
