ESPN News just showcased a fake Mike Dunleavy Jr. tweet (he's not even on Twitter) @awfulannouncing pic.twitter.com/D24fLXNkoM

When is the last time that you got duped by a fake tweet? If you’re an ESPN producer, you can actually date it thanks to Twitter.
Just because you have a pretty blue check next to your name on Twitter doesn’t necessarily mean anything. In fact, it may be fake, like in this case. Someone didn’t do their homework because instead, a Twitter user caught this error and others also chimed in. ESPN aired a fake Mike Dunleavy tweet in regards to Dwayne Wade as you can see above.
Here is how some Twitter users reacted as they showed no mercy.

This one tweet is just hilarious beyond belief.
By the way, ESPN used one of these tweets from that fake account, and ADDED A BLUE CHECKMARK THEMSELVES. https://t.co/2e4WKY47jy

@BarstoolBigCat how about ESPN adding a blue check mark next to a fake account pic.twitter.com/rDkLr92vUp

It’s a bit shameful that this was even done.
