Who knew that Pokemon Go players would also turn into Law and Order: Special Victims Unit detectives? Players continue to find dead bodies. At this point, it’s scary.
Its astonishing that the game that is barely a week old has produced so many odd stories. Pokemon Go is taking the nation by storm and some are actually finding other things besides Pokemon. The premise of the game is to walk and find some Pokemon. However, more players continue to find dead bodies.
In San Diego, a woman was found in the bushes.
Three women playing “Pokemon Go” and hunting for virtual fictional characters found a dead body Thursday near a creek bed in a San Diego park, police said.
The “Go” players were walking the trails and playing the augmented reality game about 3 p.m. in Marian Bear Memorial Park when they stumbled on the body of a man who had been dead for quite some time, said Officer Travis Easter, spokesman for the San Diego Police Department.
“That’s not a part of the game,” Easter said.
The body was found lying in bushes. Police think the man died of natural causes, and don’t suspect foul play. But his death will be investigated, he said.
Apryl Lopez told KGTV 10 News that she froze when she saw bones, then looked at her sister and friend and said, “I think I just found a dead body.”
If you thought that was it, another story comes from New Hampshire.

This is starting to be much more than a coincidence.
The man spotted the corpse floating in Salmon Brook, which runs through the Rotary Park in downtown Nashua. Police told WHDH the Pokemon player found the bodybehind the Holocaust Memorial Thursday afternoon, around 2 p.m.
“Apparently the person … was playing this Pokemon game, which led him to an obscure spot,” said Lt. Robert Giggi, of the Nashua Police Department. “That’s how he came across the victim.”
I’m sure it won’t be the last of these sort of stories. We’ll keep our eyes on this topic.
