Usain Bolt is probably the LeBron of the Olympics. Bolt was quick to fire back at the American Justin Gatlin for discussing his injury. Bolt was not kind with words and made certain promises.
Once you read the comments that Usain Bolt used to fire back at Justin Gatlin, you can already picture him stomping around much like LeBron does when he achieves something major on the court. It’s no mystery that Bolt is battling a hamstring injury but nonetheless, the comments made by Gatlin rubbed him the wrong way. Gatlin said that Bolt was given a “medical pass.” Bolt’s response will make you very eager for this race to happen already.
“I think they have not learned over the years that the more you talk, the more I will want to beat you,” Bolt told reporters. “It’s one of those things but I’m looking forward to it, should be exciting and they will feel my full wrath as always.”
Did he make any predictions as to what’s to come? He didn’t exactly but in a way, he sort of did.
“I’m feeling much more confident now. I’m much more comfortable with where I’m at. I never try to predict times, because you never know what will happen. But for me, the shape I’m in, I’ll say I’m in much better shape, so I think 9.6 (seconds) definitely.”
The trash talk is at an all-time high and this race will be one that you don’t want to miss. It’s clear that the words by Gatlin have fueled Bolt.
