The incident involving Chris Brown allegedly threatening IG model Baylee Curran with a gun is getting weirder as the story unravels.
Christian Bonilla, a friend of Curran’s has spoken out, and implied that what he had to say about the situation could make things a little blurred. According to Uproxx, he spoke to TMZ Live on Wednesday saying he drove Curran (along with a few other women) to Brown’s home in Tarzana but left early, only to get a text asking him to pick her up.
Sometime after he left is allegedly when Curran said the incident occurred. But here’s where the story gets interesting. Bonilla suggests that throughout the night, she texted him a number of times, one of the messages including “this motherf*cker’s about to go down.” A little odd…
What’s even stranger is Bonilla also told Harvey and company she’s “not someone (he’d) want to cross.” What a weird statement for someone who claims to be a friend, no?
Brown is still maintaining his innocence in all of this, claiming she made the whole thing up after being kicked out of his home.
Could this have been Curran’s way of getting back at the singer?
Here is another “Friend” who claimed he got a text saying she planned to set him up.
TMZ has obtained a copy of the text, sent to an acquaintance named Safari — no relation to Nicki Minaj’s ex. The text was purportedly sent Tuesday at 2:57 AM, shortly after Baylee Curran was kicked out of Chris’ house. It reads:
“Hey safari don’t you know this freak Chris brown is kicking me out of his house because I called his friend jewelry fake can you come get me my Uber is messing up if not I’m going to set him up and call the cops and say that he tried to shoot me and that will teach him a lesson I’m going to set his ass up. Lol come get me.”
He responded, “Really that’s f*** up you ain’t going to do that your wrong if you do.”
