James Harden used to be with Nike, but he left the company on ill terms after he never got the signature sneaker that he was promised. Instead, Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving got one instead.
Now the Houston Rockets star is with adidas, and his signature shoe with the company is scheduled to come out within the next several months.
Harden was balling out at the Danny Rumph Classic recently. The tournament’s jerseys were sponsored by Nike. With Harden, of course, being an adidas athlete, he had no other choice but to do the following.
