The Olympics are officially underway with the opening ceremony taking place on Friday. Jordan Brand looks to honor this year’s festivities with an Olympic colorway on the Air Jordan 7 model.
This year’s Olympic 7s is a brand new take on the ones we have been accustomed to. The first Olympic 7s released back in 1992 for Michael Jordan on the “Dream Team,” with re-releases following in 2004 and 2012.
This colorway is legendary Jordan Brand sneaker designer Tinker Hatfield’s take on it, as he wasn’t able to create the original Olympic USA colorway. Dubbed as the “Tinker Alternate Olympics,” this shoe will release on Saturday, August 6th for $190.
Are you looking to cop these? We got you covered with early links to purchase the shoes on Saturday morning at select Jordan Brand retailers such as Nike.com, Finish Line, Foot Locker and more.
