Whatever happened to Teddy Bridgewater at Vikings practice today is definitely serious and it’s looking more and more like the team will be impacted for the long-term. NFL insider Ian Rapoport is reporting Vikings head coach, Mike Zimmer has finally given somewhat of an update on the condition of his starting QB after what was billed as a “gruesome” knee injury:

Officially, the medical word was “dislocated knee.” That is the working hypothesis now. https://t.co/ltitZQztDX — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) August 30, 2016
With #Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater suffering what appears to be a dislocated knee, question is what other damage? It can be very serious

“We expect Teddy to make a full recovery.” https://t.co/LtpVkV73cy — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) August 31, 2016
This injury to Bridgewater has the potential to derail what was set up to be a break out season for the Vikings. The “next man up” theory will most definitely be put to the test with Sean Hill needing to step in and keep this machine moving. Easier said than done.
