Philadelphia Eagles fans let out a sigh of relief when former running back LeSean McCoy avoided charges in a bar fight where two off-duty cops were injured. Another collective sigh was released when current WR Nelson Agholor was not charged with sexual assault in an incident involving a stripper.
Seth Williams was the DA that decided not to pursue charges in both of those cases. It was revealed on Monday that Williams had received 2 free all-access sideline passes from the Eagles since 2011. Also included in the amended financial disclosure forms Williams filed were “sports tickets” with no further description.
An Eagles rep has stated that the sideline passes are also offered to the mayor and the fire and police commissioners.
Williams is being investigated by the conflict-of-interest police.
