Four Georgia teenagers made headlines this week when they walked into the Atlanta Housing authority in the hopes of landing summer jobs.
According to Vibe.com, the young men entered the LaGrange Housing Authority and asked CEO Zsa Zsa Heard for a job to avoid gangs during the summer months. Heard was so impressed with their forthrightness she offered them positions. Working in their roles since the end of July, the young men have been busy by passing out mail, working in the community garden and helping out in the kitchen.
Kudos Zsa Zsa Hard for creating the opportunity but bigger kudos to the young me for asking for it.
