As Jim Ross would say, business has picked up.
Forbes conducted their annual most valuable team rankings for the NFL and the average value for an NFL franchise increased to 19 percent.
The Cowboys are once again at the top of the heap, the only team to crack the $4 billion barrier with a valuation of $4.2 billion and an estimated $700 million in revenue in 2015. The team’s value has nearly quadrupled in just three years; in 2013 it was the most valuable franchise on Forbes’ list at a mere $1.17 billion, a figure that wouldn’t even land them on the list this year. The Bills are 32nd at $1.5 billion.
The Patriots come in second at $3.4 billion ($523 million in revenue) followed by the Giants at $3.1 billion and $444 million in revenue. The Jets, with a value of $2.75 billion and $423 million in revenue, come in at No. 7 on the list.
The Rams value also doubled since they moved to Los Angeles. Do you agree with the value of the Dallas Cowboys.
