When Jameis Winston attended Florida State, he was very much a part of the Seminoles baseball team. Folks are wondering if the door to playing baseball is closed for Winston, and he gave the answer to ProFootball Talk.
“I guess I gotta say that right now,” Winston said, via JoeBucsFan.com. “But I love baseball so much. The highlight of my year was being able to throw the first pitch out at a Yankees-Rays game. So that was pretty good for me.”
Technically, Winston can’t play baseball, since the Bucs were sure to include a no baseball clause in his contract. While it may be a desire, it’s highly unlikely we’ll ever see Winston in the MLB.
