The New England Patriots will be starting the season next week without QB Tom Brady, something that will certainly look strange next Sunday. WR Julian Edelman spoke on the 4-game suspension that Brady has to serve, Edelman expressed how it felt to not have Brady on the field with him for the first four games of the season:
“It’s pretty cool we got that banner. I just saw that. I’m not going to lie, it’s like one of your buddies going to jail,” Edelman said. “It’s one of those type of things. The whole situation is unfortunate but it’s happened and we’ve got to move on. We love him to death.
“On the field, off the field, he’s been a great help in my life but we have to deal with the situation and right now, the situation is thinking about the Arizona Cardinals and who’s going to be out there to go out and play against these guys.”
I believe this will be the only game the Patriots will lose, until Brady comes back Oct 9 when the team faces the Cleveland Browns.
