This peaceful protest speaks volumes to me and there needs to be more of it’s kind. Peaceful non-violent protests are very important but the huge amount of white supporters who joined the protest carries a lot of weight in my eyes. I’d like to believe that most White Americans can at least acknowledge and admit that Blacks in this country aren’t treated equally. Having such a large group of White Americans joining the cause makes my heart smile and give me hope that better days are ahead.
After five days of protesting in Charlotte, NC, the NFL felt it was best for the Panthers to still play their game today against the Vikings as scheduled. During the game hundreds met outside of Bank of America Stadium demonstrating and voicing their frustrations with the justice system and the death of Keith LeMont Scott.
