Colin Kaepernick continues to make history.
The San Francisco 49ers quarterback and former NBA player Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf met for over an hour in Berkeley on Friday, according to The Undefeated.

The two reportedly talked about their protests, “being misunderstood” and the difference between Kaepernick’s and Abdul-Rauf’s protest because of the power that comes with social media.
Abdul-Rauf now 47, protested the national anthem while playing for the Denver Nuggets in 1996 and was actually suspended one game by the NBA.
