We all know that That LeBron and Dwyane Wade have been very close their entire NBA career. Regardless of what what decisions they make nothing comes between their friendship. Back when LeBron decided to make his exit from Cleveland he and Wade talked about joining forces, but not in Miami. Wade reveals what hindered the duo from teaming up in Chicago via uproxx.com
“I know LeBron’s eyes were here. I know my eyes were here. It would have been a different story if the Bulls had been able to move Deng. It was something they talked about. They were very open with us with what they were trying to do. They heard the news of Miami being able to bring three players in, but it never happened. So we never had to think that far.”
“I mean, this was a place I wanted to play. It was a place LeBron also loved. We loved the city of Chicago. It’s a great market as well. Obviously the sunny sun of Miami is great too. We had tow great choices.”
If I were the Bulls moving Luol Deng for Wade and LeBron would have been a no brainer, but that is easier said than done. Having those two with a young and healthy Derrick Rose would have been scary to see.
We’ll never know what that would have been, but in the end Chicago finally managed to land D. Wade.
