Conor McGregor is preparing to do something that has never been done in the UFC, become a simultaneous two-division champion. That didn’t stop him from answering a few fan questions during a Youtube Q&A recently and talking about everything from Mayweather, Jose Aldo, Nate Diaz, Eddie Alvarez, people in Clown masks & Ronda Rousey.
On the topic of Rousey, McGregor offered his support for Rousey and made it clear that he hopes she reclaims her title and position as the best female fighter in the world.
“I’m very excited. It’s good to finally see her back. Losses can really affect you. It’s a crazy business we’re in, especially at the very, very high top. I hope she took inspiration on how she came back from my defeat. And I wish her all the best. She’s a solid competitor and I’m excited to see how it unfolds.”
It wouldn’t be a McGregor quote if he didn’t somehow find a way to give himself credit.
McGregor will have plenty of time to watch Rousey’s title fight after he challenges for history at UFC 195 in NYC.
