After serving as the face of MetLife for the past 31 years, animated pooch Snoopy has been given the pink slip.
The company is parting ways with the “Peanuts” character as part of a revamping of operations. Earlier this year, MetLife decided to move away from most of its US-based life insurance business. Snoopy was brought on over three decades ago as an attempt to connect with United States consumers. Since then, he has graced everything from company blimps to MetLife marketing materials.
Sad to see you go Snoopy.
