Cross Curt Schilling off your short list of people who can get the party started right.
Sports Illustrated picked up Schilling’s attempt to flex his newly found politically-minded muscles by hosting a Donald Trump rally in the streets of Boston on Saturday. The former Red Sox pitcher was there with the signs and tents but one key component was missing…the people. At what has to be saddest political rally this season, that’s received coverage, a whopping 10-15 people came out to stomp for Trump. In all fairness the headcount was likely closer to 7-8 since there were likely members of the media in attendance.
A clearly disappointed Schilling can be seen in the tent holding his chin in utter bewilderment. Guess the bullpen better start warming someone up.
