A man wanted go partying with his friends, but he went through extreme measures for him to go out.
In order for him to leave the house, he faked his own kidnapping because he was “afraid of his wife.”
The 34-year-old was at his home in Edinburg with his wife on Oct. 4 when two masked men with guns forced their way in around 10:30 p.m. and grabbed Andavere.
His wife, Maria Hernandez, immediately called authorities and was “petrified” after having witnessed what she thought was the abduction of her husband, police said.
Two days later, Andaverde showed up at his house and told his wife he’d been released by his kidnappers. But a follow-up police investigation showed that he had setup the kidnapping so he could “spend time with his friends and party.
Andaverde has been charged with making a false report to police, which is a Class B misdemeanor. His bond was set at $5,000.
Was the wife really that intimidating that he couldn’t ask her if he could go out with his buddies?
