After being drafted number 1 in this year’s NBA Draft, Ben Simmons is shining light on his journey to the NBA by exposing some things in the NCAA. He went into detail as to what LSU offered him.
Ben Simmons is not rushing his official start in the NBA due to his injury. However, we are all getting a treat as to what’s to come based off his new documentary, One & Done. In this new documentary, we’ll be learning a little bit of the dirty laundry that LSU has stored away in their closet. It is also rather interesting that a documentary is being done on him when he hasn’t played a game in the league.
The report also details Simmons saying he was offered a “Bentley, a Wraith Rolls-Royce, watches, jewelry, a house … anything. It literally is anything” while at LSU. Simmons didn’t specify who offered him those items.
In the documentary, he mostly grouses about what a waste of time college is, saying he didn’t see the point of going to class, particularly once he became eligible for the spring semester.
Check out a preview of the documentary that’s set to air on Showtime on November 4 at 9 pm on the next page.
