Halftimes and timeouts of NBA games can often offer as much entertainment as the game itself. Such was the case during Sunday night’s game between the Cavaliers and the Hornets.
During a second quarter timeout, four sets of contestants took part in a human game of “Hungry Hungry Hippos”. Hosted by Huntington Bank, each set of contestants, dressed in brightly colored hippo costumes, positioned themselves on roller boards and attempted to collect as many balls as they could in 30 seconds. The prize was $100 gift card to the Cavs’ team shop.
