Quade Green always had a ‘Plan A’ — tonight the journey got a lot more clearer — after the Neumann Goretti point guard became a Kentucky Wildcat.
Seeing the Wildcats dismantle Michigan State live earlier this week, made have closed the deal, as Green reportedly woke up Wednesday with a fresh and clear outlook on where he wanted to play college basketball.

Many consider Green to be the best “true point guard” in the class of 2017 — praising his knack for finding the open man with a pass-first mentality.
Green heated up the summer — after he averaged 14.9 points, 9.8 assists and 3.2 steals per game for PSA Cardinals on the Nike circuit this summer, leading the league in both assists and steals.
The early signing period ran Nov. 9-16, but Green will count as part of the early signing period since he has already signed with the Wildcats.
The Orange had been around since the beginning — going back to Green’s sophomore year — UK was UK — and were going to make the late push regardless.
Malik Monk, De’Aaron Fox and Isaiah Briscoe are all likely to leave after this season, so Green will get the ball.
