R&B singer Sevyn Streeter did some thinking, and after pondering — says she’s taking the Philadelphia 76ers up on their offer to redo the national anthem.
She made it clear to TMZ Sports that she’ll be wearing the ‘We Matter’ jersey that initially caused the controversy.
The 76ers caught flak from the public and their own players, when Streeter was nixed on opening night because of her jersey.
Sixers brass quickly had a dance team member sing the anthem.
The team apologized and offered Sevyn a chance for a redo on December 16th, where she’ll be looking to “turn an unfortunate situation into a positive.”
