Don’t come for Steve Smith if you’re not prepared for his clap back.
On the NFL Network set after Thursday’s 28-7 win over the Browns, the Ravens veteran wideout called out one of his biggest doubters after his 5 catch, 60 yard and 1 touchdown performance.
“I’m feeling good,” Smith said. “Some people have said, certain people that work for this crowd (media) said that when this offense depends on a 37-year-old, it’s in trouble. I look at a guy like that, he’s just upset about what I’m doing at 37, he couldn’t do at 31.”
Smith was referring to NBC sports NFL analyst — Rodney Harrison.
Harrison said the Ravens’ offense would be in dire straits led by a 37-year-old Smith, who surpassed Reggie Wayne for the eighth spot on the NFL’s all-time receiving yards list.
Smith ended his interview on a positive note.
“Rodney Harrison, I respect him. But just give me my credit, bro.”
