Knives should be used for carving, not murder.
A Bayonne woman accused of fatally stabbing her husband to death early Thanksgiving morning has been charged with murder, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office announced tonight.
Stanley Mazurczyk, 54, was found unresponsive with multiple stab wounds to the upper body in the couple’s third-floor apartment at Kennedy Boulevard and 31st Street around midnight, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
Margaret Mazurczyk, 50, was charged with murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon, Suarez said.
“On Wednesday, she told me that she wants to stab him,” said Jacqueline Hanna, who lives down the hall from the couple.
“I thought she was joking,” Hanna said, adding that the woman had her ups and downs.
Hanna said the couple was always arguing about things like their financial situation and accusations of infidelity.
“She flings pots pans at him, she would verbally and physically hit him, and he would try to get away.”
She is being held on a $500k cash bail, cops says the cheating was the finals straw.
