If any of these black people shot this guy three times, do you think they would have been let go by the police?
A Florida teenager who decorated his pickup truck with a large Confederate flag and Trump stickers has been arrested after allegedly brandishing weapons in three road-rage incidents.
Facebook videos of two of the incidents show Travis Thompson, 18, of Holly Hill, approaching vehicles with objects in his hand – one time a wrench, the other a baseball bat – and shouting at drivers.
Thompson was arrested on Monday and charged with improper exhibition of a dangerous weapon, Click Orlando reported.
Both of the videos showing the teen were uploaded to Facebook on November 11 by separate users.
In a video posted by Jean Jenner, Thompson’s Chevy Silverado – with Confederate flag flapping in the wind – can be seen apparently pursuing a black Volkswagen Jetta down Daytona Beach. According to Jenner both occupants were black.
The footage then cuts to Thompson out of his truck, approaching the vehicle with an object in one hand. Holly Hill police confirmed that it was a wrench.
According to police, Thompson called the driver a racial slur and said that he thought he might be in street gang The Crips.
Later that day DeeJae DuRante recorded Thompson, now in a red shirt, waving a baseball bat at a black vehicle on Daytona Beach.
The vehicle is shown trying to drive away from Thompson, but is blocked by traffic ahead. Thompson follows the car while wielding a bat.
He’s seen gesturing wildly to the car’s occupants and at one point raises the bat to swing it – just as it drives out of range and off up the road.
A third incident investigated by police allegedly saw Thompson threatening another black driver with a baseball bat.
Welcome to Trump’s America.
