Looks like the NBA will be around for at least a few more year without any lockouts of play stoppage. According to the press release, the NBA and the NBA Players Association have reached a tentative agreement on a new Collective Bargaining Agreement pending ratifications by players and team owners.
The deadline was set for 11:59 Thursday night but both sides have agreed to extended the deadline until January 13, 2017 to give both sides enough time to review the terms of the agreement and vote.
Specific terms haven’t been released yet but will be made available at a later time.
