According to NFL.com, the Sheriff’s Office responded to Richfield Truck Stop at 5:27 p.m. on Sunday after a report from a taxi cab driver that one of his customers got out of his car without paying. The 59-year-old driver told police that after picking up his passenger from his home in Richfield, Wisconsin, he drove him 111 miles to Lambeau Field only to get stiffed.
After arriving at the stadium, the 24-year-old passenger went inside the building to get money out of ATM to pay his tab. He then somehow managed to disappear from the cab driver’s sight leaving his $475 tab unpaid. The young, dumb and drunk thief was later found at a local bar. He the told police he was separated from his friends, lost his cell phone and ripping off the can driver was his last hope. They rewarded his honestly by giving him a free ride to jail.
