A new case involving a Florida cop shooting a citizen has emerged.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement are investigating the incident that took place in Rockledge on Thursday night, where a 17-year-old was shot. Daily Mail UK has the details.
The video starts by showing an officer standing over the teenager, who is lying on the ground on his stomach with his arms stretched out. Seconds later, a gunshot can be heard, and immediately afterwards the 17-year-old rolls over and starts screaming in pain. The cop, identified as 17-year-veteran Nicholas Galluzzi, is then heard shouting: ‘Don’t move… put your hands out.’ Galluzzi then continues to shout, ‘don’t move’ at the teenager, who is still screaming in pain. The 17-year-old then says, ‘why’d you shoot me’, to which Galluzzi replies,’ you kept moving your hands.’ The 17-year-old is then heard saying: ‘Oh my god, bro. I’m just a teenager.’ About one minute and 30 seconds passes in the video before another officer kneels down next to the teen and starts searching him for a weapon. He is heard screaming throughout the clip, before the second officer asks Galluzzi where he tased him. ‘He wasn’t tased, he was shot,’ Galluzzi replied.
