McDonald’s products might make you commit serious crimes, even at gunpoint. One 13-year old wasn’t going to let this 12-year old rob her of her McNuggets.
The idea of robbing someone at gun point is one that must be crazy if it crosses your mind. Can you actually imagine pulling a gun out on someone? What would it take for you to get there? However, attempting to rob someone over a chicken McNugget demonstrates so many issues. One 12-year old is in police custody after he pulled out a gun on a fellow classmate and demanded a McNugget.
The incident happened on the subway at Lexington Avenue and 103rd Street around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday.
The 13-year-old girl reportedly smacked the gun away from her head, and the suspect ran off.
Authorities say the suspect had previously approached the victim inside of a McDonald’s on 103rd Street and Third Avenue to ask for a chicken nugget. The victim is said to have declined.
The two apparently know each other from school, where the boy was taken into custody Wednesday.
How he managed to get his hands on a gun is the bigger question here. This young man needs to learn that this isn’t a toy.
