Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are getting ready to take on the Dallas Cowboys in the playoffs, but it doesn’t look like he will have his family there to cheer him on. Details on Aaron Rodgers’s beef with his family came to light when his brother Jordan appeared on The Bachelorette, and now their father Ed Rodgers has opened up about their difficult relationship.
Ed Rodgers responded to the New York Times with following when asked about Jordan and Aaron.
“One in the news is enough for us,” Ed said. “Fame can change things.”
Aaron Rodgers and his family got on bad terms shortly after he began dating actress Olivia Munn in 2014. Ed Rodgers was asked if the relationship has gotten better since then and he responded with the following:
“Airing public laundry is not what I would have chosen,” Ed said about his family drama making the news, adding that it was “hard to tell” if there had been a thaw in his chilly relationship with his son.”
Aaron’s brother Jordan won The Bachelorette show back in August and has moved to Dallas with fiancee JoJo Fetcher. However, the family has stated that they do not plan to attend the NFC divisional playoff game on Sunday.
