We are living in the social media era where athletes are more interactive as ever.
A lot of times that includes giving you behind the scenes of the locker room before the media gets in there.
After the Steelers beat the Chiefs, Antonio Brown started up his Facebook Live for the world to see. It started off with just a lot of dancing and smiling, but then Boston media got a hold of what was being said about the Patriots.
As the team is called together for a postgame prayer, Brown keeps the camera rolling. After the prayer, Tomlin made a statement.“When you get to this point in the journey, not a lot needs to be said,” said Tomlin. “Let’s say very little moving forward. Let’s start our preparations. We spotted those a******* a day and a half. They played yesterday. Our game got moved to tonight. We gonna touch down at 4 o’clock in the f****** morning. So be it. We’ll be ready for that ass. But you ain’t gotta tell them we coming. Because some of us might not like the damn (woofkisses?) The chest pounding. Keep a low profile.”
Well, guess they can’t keep a low profile now that the media got a hold of quotes that were supposed to be private.
Not a big deal in grand scheme of things, but similar to Timberlands on a yacht it will give the talking heads something to talk about. Also I doubt Antonio Brown will be doing any more live streaming until the media are actually in the locker room.
