The Women’s March was a hugely successful global event and BSO was on the scene in downtown Miami, where roughly 10,000 people came to demonstrate in support of women’s right. I caught up with some demonstrators near Bayfront Park that wanted to share their frustrations about Donald Trump’s presidency, and also spread support for women’s rights. In the video below, they talk about Trump not being a legitimate president, and not much better than their dog.

These group of demonstrators joined with almost 3 million other women and men in the United States to unite against what they feel is a divisive and ugly tone spread by Donald Trump over the last few years. President Trump often speaks of a divided America and making it “Great Again”, but opponents argue that his famous slogan excludes certain groups he has deemed undesirable. The irony with Trump’s election is that the resistance against his actions and rhetoric may be the common thread that unites the people who will have an opportunity to defeat him in 2020.
If the turnout for the Women’s March is an indicator of what is to come in the next four years, then President Trump’s time in the White House might be brief.
