Glory Fight Club kicks off year 2017 with Glory 37 in Los Angeles at the LA Live Novo theater. The packed card featuring two title fights and a welterweight tournament is expected to produce non-stop action for as long as each card lasts. Here’s the breakdown of who’s fighting and what you can expect.
C. JASON WILNIS (29-6-1 Overall; 6-4 Glory) VS. #3 ISRAEL ADESANYA (65-3 Overall; 2-1 Glory)
Wilnis, the current Glory middleweight title holder, makes his first defense since defeating Simon Marcus to pick up the strap in September. Adesanya, who made his debut at Glory 34, has looked unstoppable against his previous foes and enters the ring with outstanding MMA and boxing skills. Wilnis holds the experience edge but Adesanya is widely considered to have a bigger arsenal of tools. Ultimately, the real challenge comes in dominating the champion enough to get the nod from the judges.
Prediction: Wilnis – Majority Decision

Welterweight Yoann Kongolo (62-8; 3-3) ranked number #5 faces off against #3 ranked Karim Benmansour.
