This time last year, Cam Newton and his Carolina Panthers were prepping for the postseason. However, Carolina was unable to capitalize on their success from a season ago, as they missed the playoffs completely this season.
Nonetheless, Newton has bigger and better things to worry about. On Christmas Eve, Newton’s son, Chosen, turned one. Versus pampering Chosen with gifts, he won’t remember, Cam decided to deliver him a letter he can refer to as he gets older.

You may not have known that Cam even had a child. Well, that’s because the reigning MVP hasn’t shown Chosen off to the public eye.
“Every time I go out everybody always asks, ‘Why can’t we see his face? I want to see Chosen. How’s Chosen doing?'” Newton said. “So after long thoughts, I figured after his first birthday I’m going to release a couple of pictures for everybody to see on his whole maturation to this point.
When Chosen becomes old enough to understand what’s going on, he’s going to appreciate his dad more than he could ever imagine.
