A story about Carmelo being willing to waive his no-trade clause if that meant playing for the Clippers or Cavs came out from a media member who is very close to Phil Jackson.
Melo connected the dots and he was not pleased.

It is hard to feel bad for Carmelo because he has had opportunities to leave the Knicks, but has chose to stay.
But, it looks like a marriage headed for divorce.
