I understand the Eagles are having a rough season, but if every media member got ejected from events for being too loud, who would be left to covver thhem?
In a hilariously sad turn of events — the Philadelphia Eagles attempted to eject a writer from the press box during Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, according to multiple reporters, after he didn’t allow an Eagles PR guy to yell at him.
Jeff McLane, the Eagles reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer, didn’t respond well to the PR guy singling him out for being too loud.
Les Bowen of the Daily News broke it all down!
Eagles Sr VP Anne Gordon made it clear to everyone objecting that she would be happy to eject us all, and that fallout did not concern her.

Veteran writer Marcus Hayes got photos of the dismissal!

Also: Ejection occurred 10-15 minutes after initial PR-instigated, PR-escalated confrontation had totally dissipated @gregaiello @nflcommish https://t.co/mUpVspcZPN

The Eagles are wrong for this, but it’s the status quo with the organization as well!
