Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Adrien Broner may have temporarily buried the hatchet but don’t count Floyd Sr. in on the love fest.
On hand at the MGM this past weekend for the Carl Frampton vs. Leo Santa Cruz rematch, Floyd Sr. told FightHype.com that he was unaware that Broner had a fight coming up against Adrian Granados on February 18th in Cincinnati and he still isn’t a fan of Broner’s fighting skills.
“I didn’t even know that son of a b*tch was fighting. Who in the hell is Broner? He can’t fight that damn good, that’s one damn thing for sure,”
Although he doesn’t care for Broner’s current skill set, he does believe he can make him better.
“Did I claim myself a master or am I a master? It’s one of the two. Because guess what? I have made more champions than anybody in this f***ing town [of Las Vegas]. I made 15 champions,” Mayweather Sr. said. “I can help [Broner].”
No one’s expecting AB to take up Floyd Sr. on his offer but he will undoubtedly have a response in the near future.
