As the Dallas Cowboys prepare to face Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers today, there’s some news involving their popular backup quarterback Tony Romo.
With the way rookie Dak Prescott has played this season, there’s no doubt he’s the franchise guy moving forward, which leaves Romo in limbo.
At the age of 36, Romo’s time is running out, so he realizes staying in Dallas isn’t an option. As a matter of fact, the former All-Pro signal caller wants to join Denver, but there’s one big problem.
Was asked about #Cowboys’ plans for Tony Romo in 2017. No secret, #Broncos are his No. 1 spot. I’m told DEN is not inclined to trade for him

Romo has three years left on his contract, so it’s highly unlikely Dallas would release him when they could get some quality value in return.
