It’s been a little over a month since Donald Trump was sworn in to presidency and now, we have a second orange alligator spotted in the Carolinas.
If you’re not scared yet, now’s the time to be. The first orange alligator was spotted in South Carolina about a week ago and now, a second one is strutting around like he owns us. In a way he does because if you see him, turn around.
The second alligator was spotted in North Carolina and those who live in the area have playfully called him, “Donny.” Without me explaining it, you know who they’re referring to.
The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reports (http://bit.ly/2mhVXP1 ) Tuesday that some residents of a Calabash, North Carolina, neighborhood have named the pumpkin-colored alligator “Donny.”
Earlier this month, residents joked that an orange alligator that turned up in a pond near Charleston had used too much self-tanning lotion. Jay Butfiloski with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources said the color may have come from where the animal spent the winter, perhaps in a rusty steel culvert pipe.
The alligators should be returning to their normal shades but for now, they will be referred to as the Donny’s. Flip the page to see the video of this Cheeto’s-Donald Trump crossover alligator.
