ESPN and many other outlets are reporting what we all know, the Bears are seeking to move on from quarterback Jay Cutler. Starting March 9th, NFL teams can begin to make trades so seeking partners begins now.
The Bears can’t just get rid of Cutler without having their quarterback situation settled. They will be seeking draft compensation, and while Cutler does not have a no trade clause, the word is both Cutler and Bears would have to agree on the suitor.
Cutler is 33, so he probably won’t be looking to be a part of any rebuild situation. He would likely want to go to a team that is playoff ready. Given what the Bears might expect in return, in terms of compensation; what teams would make sense as a potential trade partner?
