There’s always going to be a debate over who’s the GOAT of rap, but when you consider all of the factors such as longevity, record sales, impact, lyrics, accolades, and classic projects, you’ll be hard-pressed to find someone more accomplished than Jay-Z.
At the age of 47, HOV can add another accolade to his already storied career. He will become the first rapper to be inducted into the songwriter’s hall of fame.

It’s only fitting that HOV is the first.
This should open up doors for rappers down the line.
