When cheer is life, you turn cartwheels when asked to walk a straight line by law enforcement.
According to the Kansas City Star, Albuquerque law enforcement discovered cheerleader Bryelle Marshall slumped at the wheel of her car after receiving reports of a black Volkswagen sedan driving recklessly. After being roused back to consciousness, Marshall was asked to step out of her car for a field sobriety test. When she stepped out of her vehicle to perform ‘walk the line’ test, she opted to turn a few crooked cartwheels instead.
According to the criminal complaint Marshall had a hard time standing, swaying side-to-side, and smelled like alcohol. Following the incident Marshall was charged with battery, aggravated DWI and for driving with an expired license plate.
The arrest and charges have cost Marshall her job as a Duke City Gladiator, a professional indoor football team in Albuquerque, event coordinator.
DWI is a serious offense and so is taunting law enforcement. Do NOT go out there turning cartwheels when you get pulled over people.
