A display case containing memorabilia from Kobe Bryant’s high school years at Lower Merion High School has been burglarized and authorities are searching for the culprit and the items.
According to Sports Illustrated, the “Kobe Shrine” break-in was discovered on Sunday by school officials. Robbers made off with a framed Kobe high school jersey, several pairs of signed Nike sneakers and the 1996 state championship trophy and net.
Unfortunately for the thieves, who will face breaking and entering charges if apprehended, the enshrined jersey is a replica and not the original.
