The Zen Master was in hot water yesterday when he pushed send on a tweet that implied he agreed with Bleacher Report’s Kevin Ding.

For about a month now, there has been bad tension between Phil Jackson and Carmelo Anthony. On multiple occasions, Melo has stated how he wants to remain in New York, but if the front office doesn’t want him around anymore, he’ll have no choice but to waive his no-trade clause.
In an attempt to deflect some of the heat, Jackson is backtracking today on Twitter.

Good try, but this isn’t going to change anyone’s perspective on how Phil has handled this entire saga.
