Under Armour CEO has raised eyebrows with some pro-Trump statements this week, calling President Trump a real asset for the country. Of course a polarizing figure like Donald Trump is going to generate strong responses from both sides. Steph Curry responded to the statement by saying that the “et” should be removed from “asset”, and now Dwayne Johnson has shared his feelings on Instagram.
The Rock basically used a long post to make sure people knew that he was tolerant and respectful off all people, without having to sever ties with Under Armour. He really didn’t take a position like Curry did, which is similar to the “Republicans buy shoes too”, comment from a young Michael Jordan. His response shows that The Rock’s PR engine is really cooking.
