The Cavs had no LeBron and no Kyrie on Saturday night against the HEAT, which resulted in a 120-92 pummeling by the HEAT. At the end of the game, Rodney McGruder went up for a dunk on Channing Frye, and it looked like he slapped Frye at the end of the dunk in video footage from ESPN.
JR Smith didn’t take too kindly to the move on his teammate, and during the ensuing timeout tempers flared. Smith looked like his was ready to fight the entire HEAT team and had to be restrained by his coaches. It appeared he wanted to exchange hands with Dion Waiters. He was eventually escorted back to the locker room, but it was the end of the game anyway.
The HEAT continue to remain the hottest team in the NBA as the playoffs draw nearer. If they can keep winning and secure the #8 seed, it will be an interesting matchup against the Cavs, who will most likely be the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference.
