While there’s been many questions about the exact numbers, one thing is clear: There’s far too many young Black girls missing in the United States, and it’s the disturbing stories (and lack of amber alerts) coming out of Washington D.C. as of late thats really infuriating people.
Recently when a 10-year-old D.C. girl went missing with no amber alert or national media coverage, many frustrated Twitter users created the hashtag #MissingDCGirls; which revealed many other children to be missing as well.
LL Cool J has apparently had enough. The “Momma Said Knock You Out” rapper took to his Twitter page to call directly on celebrities & media alike to take this seriously and join the movement:
Yo @Eminem let’s find these #missingdcgirls !!!

Harvey Levin, to his credit, sent a personalized TMZ video to the general public, laying out exactly whats going on, explaining the urgency needed for this case, for those who might not follow LL:

It’s truly a shame the FBI prioritizes finding a Super Bowl Jersey over missing human beings, or more specifically; UNITED STATES CITIZENS.
Maybe with more entities reporting on the situation, more concrete information can be passed around in attempts to find these missing young women.
As Levin said in the video, this many people don’t just disappear in one locale. Something is definitely going on, and it looks like it’ll be on Twitter to find out the truth since the FBI seems to have bigger fish to fry.
A CNN article containing info on some of the victims can be found here, however we encourage you to report any information you might know, or even suspect to your local authorities.
Hopefully we can all do our small part to bring these girls home, whether you live in the D.C. area or not.
