DeSean Jackson is one of the hottest players on the market as free agency looms. Most recently, the Patriots and Cowboys have expressed interest in the fleet-footed wide receiver.
The Pats are definitely interested in acquiring a quick wideout as evidenced by their generous offer of their first-round pick in exchange for receiver Brandin Cooks. The Saints decline opens up the door for Jackson to join the squad as they try to defend their Super Bowl title next season.
Meanwhile, adding Jackson to an already potent Dallas offense could render the Cowboys nearly unstoppable.
Jackson has stated that he will take the best offer on the table but that a quality quarterback will factor heavily in the decision. That puts Dallas and New England ahead of the Bucs and Eagles who have expressed interest as well.
